Anaheim Chamber head (and newly minted Planning Commisioner) Todd Ament will compete in the Demolition Derby on Saturday July 25th, at the OC Fair! Now THERE is a mental image I have had fun playing with! They are looking for sponsors for this worthy event, as it benefits the Boys and Girls Club Motel Kids Outreach. Sponsorship Levels are $100 for "smash Em Up" level, or $250 for "Demolish" level. Sponsorship includes a decal on the car, but you have to get your artwork in by Thursday the 23 at noon. The Motel Kids Outreach Program provides services and support for children who are one step away from homelessness, living in local motels. I can't think of a better use for $100, and seeing Todd in a flame-retardant driver suit would be worth more than that!
